A journalistic mistake embarrasses the French national team striker
Marcus Thuram, the French national team striker, was exposed to an embarrassing situation while speaking to the media in a press conference, before the Roosters’ Euro 2024 match against Austria.
France will begin its campaign in the European Nations Championship, with a strong confrontation against Austria, next Monday at the Mercure Spiel Arena in the German city of Dusseldorf, in the first round of the fourth group of the competition.
One of the journalists attending the conference went to ask Marcos Tuarem a question, but he made a mistake and said before his question, “Good morning Kylian,” referring to Kylian Mbappe, the French national team star who recently transferred to Real Madrid.
Thuram was shocked by the journalist’s behavior, but he jokingly replied: “Did you just call me Kylian? No, I am more handsome than Mbappe. You should not mistake us.”
He added: “I don’t look like Ninja Turtles (a cartoon turtle character).” It is noteworthy that Kylian Mbappé is likened to the character “Donatello”, one of the heroes of the famous children’s series “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
