2021/22 Admission: BUK Scraps Post-UTME, Releases Cut-Off Mark

The school management made this known in a statement released on Friday. Candidates are however required to score 180 and above in their UTME as the minimum cut-off points for programmes at the varsity.

The university, however, said it would conduct online screening for all candidates of UTME and Direct Entry who have chosen the institution as a first choice to enable them to key into the university’s portal.

the varsity’s decision is as a result of a report of the University Central Admissions Committee.

The statement which was signed and released by the Director of the Directorate of Examinations, Admissions and Records, Hajiya Amina Abdullahi, on behalf of the acting Registrar, Malam Jamil Salim, also noted that online screening will commence on 3rd September 2021 and close on 18th September 2021

The institution has also pegged 220 and above as cut-off points for programmes in the Faculties of Clinical Sciences and Pharmaceutical Sciences while Faculties of Allied Health Sciences, Dentistry and Law have their cut off points from 200 and above.

The programmes are as follows: Agriculture, Arts and Islamic Studies, Basic Medical Sciences, Communication, Computer Science and Information Technology, Earth and Environmental Sciences, Education and Engineering.

Others are Life Sciences, Management Sciences, Physical Sciences and Social Sciences.

However, the printing of acknowledgement slip will continue up to midnight of 20th September 2021,” the statement added.
